Since coming to the Jeremiah Tree, I have started to love myself and accept myself for who I am. For the first time, I have begun to see myself as Christ sees me—worthy, loved, and redeemed. This realization has been life-changing, and it inspires me daily to strive to be better than I used to be at loving and helping others. Each day is an opportunity to grow in kindness, compassion, and selflessness, reflecting the love that Christ has shown me.

Meaningful Bible Verse for Matt:

Proverbs 3:4-5 KJV

4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Abundant Life Milestone: 12 Christian Living Books Read

Since I have been at the Jeremiah Tree, I have experienced significant growth in my mental health and have deepened my spiritual connection. My relationship with God has been renewed, and I have been making an intentional effort to get to know Jesus better each day. One milestone in this journey has been reading through the entire Bible, which has provided me with profound insights and guidance. Now, I am focused on re-reading the New Testament to continue strengthening my faith and understanding of His teachings.

In the coming months, I would like to grow more in the Lord and work toward getting my driver's license back. Additionally, I am committed to making progress in dealing with my mental health issues. I have recently begun talking to a therapist, alongside the spiritual counseling I receive through the Jeremiah Tree. These combined efforts provide me with both emotional and spiritual support. I hope to take steps toward one day being able to work in the ministry in some form, using my experiences to serve and inspire others.

My stay at the Jeremiah Tree has been incredibly grounding and beneficial. The connection to nature has been healing, offering a peaceful environment for reflection and growth. Working alongside other disciples has also been enriching, fostering teamwork and collaboration. This experience aligns with the teachings of Matthew 25, where we are called to serve one another, embody compassion, and build a community that strengthens all members through mutual support. Each day, I am reminded of the beauty of serving others and the importance of fostering unity through acts of love and kindness.

My physical health has improved greatly since moving into the HomePlace. The home-like atmosphere has been a wonderful place to recover and build my physical strength. My faith has grown rapidly during my time at the Jeremiah Tree, as the staff and volunteers have provided intense one-on-one instruction to help me understand the Word of God in the best way possible for me. Each day, I try to encourage my brothers, often reminding them, "If you see a brother without a smile, share yours with them." This simple act of kindness helps to lift spirits and foster a sense of community among us.

Meaningful Bible Verses for Ryan:

Proverbs 1:1-7 ESV

1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction,
   to understand words of insight,
3 to receive instruction in wise dealing,
   in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple,
   knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
   and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6 to understand a proverb and a saying,
   the words of the wise and their riddles.

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
   fools despise wisdom and instruction.
