The Jeremiah Tree is an evolving collaborative effort of multiple local churches and community agencies. The Jeremiah Tree is being designed to empower, educate, and edify individuals. We do this by linking them with ministries and agencies for needed assistance. The Tree will also provide a place for mentoring, providing educational services and sharing the Gospel of Christ. We seek to provide “connections” for those in need to Christ, Community, and Counsel as well as to practical assistance such as food, clothing, and emergency services.
The Jeremiah Tree (Facebook) is a ministry dedicated to offering opportunities to the homeless, addicted and impoverished. Currently, the Jeremiah Tree has office hours by appointment. Call 937-562-3121 to schedule or to request info. At its core, the “Tree” is a benevolence and assistance ministry. Our mission is to effectively and efficiently connect those in need to Christ, church benevolence and personal improvement opportunities currently available in the Xenia and Greene County community.
The Jeremiah Tree also operates the TreeHouse, a residential addiction recovery house that can currently house up to 4 men, whom are eligible to move next door upon graduation into the next phase of recovery (the GreenHouse, with an additional capacity for 4 more men). For more info (www.facebook.com/JTtreehouse/) or to apply for admission to the program, call Jeff Carter at 937-207-0039.
An important non-residential opportunity is for an Assistant to the Director (Assistant duties). Please contact Jeff at 937-207-0039 for more information and a detailed explanation of duties.
